QUALITY
Compel has always worked to obtain the highest level of quality, in order to provide its customers with products and services having the best quality standard, in line with the market requirements. In the Seventies Compel introduced the Quality Control procedures. In the Eighties the Quality Assurance methods. In the Nineties Compel obtained the ISO 9001 ed. 87 and ed. 94 Quality System certification. In 2002 Compel also achieved the goal to obtain the Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001 ed. 00.

ENVIRONMENT
In 2006 Compel obtained ISO 14001 ed. 04 Certification, since the issue concerning the environmental quality is regarded as a duty for a better future.

RoHS EUROPEAN DIRECTIVES
Compel has always been very concerned about the protection of our environment and has taken all the necessary actions to ensure that the design of its connectors and products do not contemplate the use of any restricted hazardous substance and also avoided any waste which could jeopardise the natural balance of our surroundings. Following the recent EU Directives on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, Compel can now certify that all its products are 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and 2002/96/EC (WEEE) Compliant.

ETHICAL CODE
The Ethical Code, a fundamental element of company culture, is the official document in which the “Principles of Company Ethics” to be respected are defined.
For the above-mentioned reasons, Compel issues its own “Ethical Code” which, having been developed on various levels, sanctions Compel’s philosophy and directives concerning the following subject matters:

-Staff
-Work environment and safety
-The environment in which we live
-Working relationships with customers and supplier
-Personal behaviour and the interest of the company
-Handling of purchases
-Respecting the rights of Compel and of third parties
-Relationships with customers and with competitors
-Company communications
-Observance of the law in political activities

For Compel Electronics, Intersolar 2010 has been a great success!

New important products have been shown by COMPEL ELECTRONICS at the INTERSOLAR 2010, exhibition held in Munich between 9th June and 11th June: more than 450 visitors had a chance to view and put their hands on Compel’s new products for the photovoltaic sector.

Following the success of its junction box, series CBOX, fully recognized as a really innovative junction box because of the connectors held in the two integrated special side wings, Compel introduced and officially released the newborn SLIMBOX..
