Compel Electronics celebrates the 10th anniversary of Compel Electronics GmbH

Cornate d'Adda, February 2008 - Compel Electronics SpA celebrates the 10th anniversary of Compel Electronics GmbH, the German branch of Compel Electronics SpA. Thanks also to Compel Electronics GmbH, Compel Electronics SpA has consolidated its role as a leader, on a European basis, in the design and production of high and low frequency, fibre optic and coaxial interconnection solutions, backplanes, racks and sub-racks.

Compel Electronics GmbH was set up in 1998 due to Compel Electronics Spa's need to develop and consolidate its presence in the interconnection market in Central and Eastern Europe. Over the years Compel Electronics GmbH has established a series of important partnerships, such as with MP Systems - a Norwegian based company, set up over 40 years ago, specialised in the development of Flexi-Racks (light-weight ALUFrame) and accessories - and Response Microwave - an American company, based in Boston, which prides itself on its dedicated and specialised team of engineers whose individual professional experiences, when added together, total one hundred years of experience in the field of RF components.

The cable assembly line at Bebra, in Germany, has led to the achievement of a high level of service and quality of products: since 1999 Compel Electronics GmbH has manufactured over 750,000 assemblies. In addition to power cable assemblies and low-frequency cable assemblies, Compel Electronics GmbH is specialised in RF cable assemblies for flexible coaxial cables (up to 14 mm diameter) and for semi-rigid and conformable semi-rigid coax cables up to UT 250. Compel Electronics GmbH supplies its products and services to the leading OEMs of the Telecom market such as Alcatel Lucent, Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson and also has a customer base of around a hundred small and medium companies such as Telsima (WiMAX), BKTel (Digital CATV Headends), Teles AG, who are all strong and global players in their respective markets.

The high level of technical expertise, the quality of the products supplied, wich are always in line with customers and market requirements, the punctuality in delivery, the ability to meet the customer's needs and the proven professionalism of the entire staff, from those working on the cable assembly line to those occupied with sales, customer service, administration and company management, all these factors have contributed to making Compel Electronics GmbH an extremely reliable partner. The objective, over the next few years, for this German company is to increase the penetration of the Datacom sector, with new products and services to consolidate the yearly growth which over the last 5 years has been higher thank 30%.
