At electronica 2006 Compel Electronics presents a technical meeting
“Power and Signal Integrity in High Speed Digital PCBs’ Design for Electronic Equipment”
Thursday 16th November, at 16.00
electronica 2006 – Hall C3, ZVEI-Podium – Stand 336
Cornate d’Adda, october 2006 – Compel Electronics SpA, www.compel.it, a Company recognised internationally as a leader in the design and manufacture of interconnection systems and cable assemblies, announces that, besides its direct participation as official exhibitor to Electronica 2006, between 14th and 17th November in Munich, Thursday 16th at 16.00 in Hall C3,ZVEI-Podium stand 336, will hold a technical presentation with the following subject :”Power and Signal Integrity in High Speed Digital PCBs’ Design for Electronic Equipment”.
Here below is the summary of the presentation which will be conducted by Mr. Vittorio Ricchiuti of Technolabs, a company of the Compel Group: “The trend in the electronic market makes available each year integrated circuits (ICs) with always higher clock rates, full of different electronic functions. The used downward scaled technology yields faster transistors with very short channel lengths which, due to the increasing of the ICs’ power consumption and to the reducing of their supply voltage levels, draw high currents with a high di/dt ramping rate. Consequently the on board power integrity (PI), i.e., the capability of delivering the needed amount of power at the requested noise free voltage level, becomes of paramount importance in the design of the high speed digital boards and one of the main concerns for the board designers. Moreover the good distribution of the power supply helps to guarantee the on board signal integrity (SI), i.e., the necessary fidelity of signal and clock wave shapes, minimizing electromagnetic noise generation. The presentation highlights the progress of TechnoLabs in the field of Power and Signal Integrity, always taking into account two important aspects of the industrial approach: costs and reliability.”
After the presentation, you will be able to see at our stand, besides our full range of interconnection products, from multipin connectors to our high frequency coaxial products, all our newly released products for the Datacom and Telecom sectors.
