Connectors and cables for antenna jumpers
Compel Electronics Spa, a leading international company in the design and manufacture of interconnection systems and cable assemblies, has extended its already wide range of connectors and cables for antenna jumpers. Straight male/female versions and right angle male versions of the connectors belonging to the 7/16'' and N series are now available, these being the most commonly used for this type of application. To complete the above, EIA 7/8'' flanges have also been created, together with the relevant assembly kits. All these connectors can be adapted to the principal types of cable available on the market with the external diameter measuring from 8 to 50 mm. (from 1/4'' superflex to 1-5/8''). Compel Electronics Spa is in a position to supply also complete and tested antenna jumpers, using, on request, the different types of cable and the most suitable connectors for the different application conditions. The jumpers are suitable for external installation, as their protection level is IP68. Even their lengths can be standard or carried out to the customer’s request. Intermodulation, return loss and attenuation tests are carried out. Recently, solutions have been found which go way beyond the traditional 2.2 GHz frequency, whereby the jumpers can be used at up to 3.8 GHz with good electrical performance. A wide range of “in-series” and “between series” adapters can also be supplied which allow connections to be made with ease between connectors of the same series or different series. For more detailed information, you can consult our catalogue “ANTENNA JUMPER’S SOLUTIONS” or visit our website www.compel.it.
